Tim Bass Ministries was founded in January 2001 from scriptures found in Exodus 15:2, "The lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him" (NIV)
"Sharing God's love through song" is the mission of Tim's Ministry. Tim has shared both his gift and God's love through song, throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Tim has been singing gospel music since he was very young, and cherishes the time spent with family singing these old classics and beloved hymns. He credits childhood favorites such as his family, Elvis Presley, JD Sumner & The Stamps, The Blackwood Brothers and many others with giving him both inspiration and style, both of which can be heard in his voice and in his music.
Tim thanks Jesus Christ for his many blessings, the gift to sing and for equipping him to minister. He has always believed in Jesus Christ and his word, but it wasn't until 1996, that Tim accepted Jesus Christ and His love, in a little country church in Warsaw, NC. Unity United Methodist Church is Tim's beloved and cherished church home.
Tim, his wife, Cheryl, his daughter, Amber, and son, Seth reside in Warsaw. Tim loves his family very much and thanks them for their support and encouragement.
In January 2003, Tim's best friend, Dean Hardison joined the ministry as sound engineer. Tim states "Dean is not only the most prolific engineer in gospel music but the best friend and brother in Christ a person could have." Thank you Dean, Valerie, Evan and Ashlynn for your un-selfish dedication to the ministry.
2005 brought more changes to Tim Bass Ministries, God give Tim the inspiration to write songs. These songs reflect the love of Jesus Christ and the ultimate sacrifice HE made on the cross. "Because of God's Love", the first song written by Tim, not only captures the love of Jesus Christ, but also blends a vintage sound of gospel music from the past. Tim is a registered song writer with BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc) and launched "Front Room Music "under which Tim records and publishes his music.
